Frequently asked questions
How to compare quotes, send a deposit and get help with your swap.
Do I need an account or a wallet connection?
No account is required. No Wallet Connect and Private routes use a deposit address; Onchain DEX or Bridge routes require you to connect and sign with your own wallet.
Where does the rate come from?
We request current quotes for your selected assets, networks and amount. Best sorts comparable routes by estimated receive after quoted fees; Fastest uses the available time estimates. Estimates can change before a transfer completes.
What does it cost?
The receive estimate includes quoted swap and delivery fees. Your sending wallet or exchange may charge separately for the deposit. Onchain routes require you to pay gas separately; check the route card for the available estimate.
Floating or fixed rate?
A floating rate can change while your swap is processed. A fixed quote applies within its stated deposit window and conditions. Follow the amount and deadline on your order page; some routes require a refund address.
What happens if a different amount arrives?
Follow the deposit instructions for your order. Floating routes may recalculate the receive amount from the deposit actually received. Sending fees can reduce that deposit. A different amount may also require manual review; keep your swap ID and contact support if needed.
What if I send to the wrong network?
Those funds are generally unrecoverable — by us or anyone else. This is the single most costly mistake in crypto swapping, which is why we validate your address against the destination chain and show the network name at every step. Check it before you send.
My swap says it needs attention. What happened?
Your swap needs review or additional information. Keep the order page and contact support with your swap ID for the next steps. The page shows status updates when available.
The swap failed. Do I get my money back?
If you have sent funds and a swap cannot complete, contact support with your swap ID. Recovery depends on the swap status. Confirm the recoverable asset, amount and destination with support; a failed status does not by itself mean a refund has completed.
I closed the tab and lost my swap ID.
Check "My swaps" in the same browser for saved orders and a resume link to your latest Private swap. Some routes save only the latest order link, not a complete history. If you clear site data or change devices, these links may be lost. Keep your swap ID and order link when you start.
Is this private?
Private swaps do not require a wallet connection. Your order page shows the deposit instructions, progress and delivery details you need. Private does not guarantee anonymity: blockchain activity may be public, and service providers may retain transaction records and perform compliance checks.
